Bodies And Interfaces

An exhibition exploring the myriad possibilities that new digital technologies present for interface between the human body and the computer.

Over a semester students critically engage with digital media and physical computing, while working on a prototype of an interactive project. They are asked to not only use what current technologies have to offer, but to also imagine the potential future directions of these technology, and explore the possibilities of both utopian and dystopian futures that may very well be just around the corner.

Come and experience the creative explorations of the Bodies & Interfaces students as they harness a range of sensors to control interaction in virtual 3D environments, creating immersive, responsive works, utilising a range of technologies including full body tracking and virtual reality immersion.
