The many traditions, colours, languages and religions of Brazil have given rise to one of the world’s richest musical cultures.  Of the many forms of Brazilian music, samba stands out as the most universally known. This concert explores the vitality of samba, and other Afro-Brazilian dance rhythms, in settings for large and small jazz ensembles.
